So, we were supposed to go camping this past weekend. We had a campsite lined up and Mom and Mitch were planning to come with us. Unfortunately, Ben's truck didn't cooperate! The fuel pump is going out and it wasn't safe to pull the camper, so we are going to have to reschedule. Ben still had the day off work on Friday, so we loaded up the van and headed for Castor River. We convinced Dennis and Donna to meet us down there and had a great afternoon. The boys partied like rockstars with out their naps! They loved playing in the rocks so much that they didn't even argue! We stayed for about five hours and then headed back home.
Ben ended up working on Saturday, but Sunday we were back in "vacation" mode and took the kids to the City Garden. It was a great way to spend a hot day and it was free!! We played for a couple of hours, ate lunch and then headed home.
